To be able to travel and do something you love doing is something I wouldn't have even thought possible at a young age. I've been lucky enough to stay fit and healthy and enjoy Kitesurfing over the last 7 or 8 years and to this day it doesn't get old. Following the wind takes you to endless coastlines around the world and the chance to experience cultures you didn't know exist.
With still an endless list of countries and spots to explore it's a refreshing thought that things will never get stale. With a planet in decline over its resources and a sport with which you only need the natural power of wind it's a great message that goes out to people in modern day times. Whether it be kiting in the surf, hitting rails and features or just boosting big airs it's a feeling that keeps me happy year after year.
Having recently recovered from a knee injury and broken ankle last winter shortly after placing 2nd in the British champs for 2009 I’ve been back riding out in the USA this summer, east and west coast and over the next year I’ll be heading out to Egypt, Philippines, Turkey, USA, Canaries, South Africa and more to continue pushing my riding and exploration.
